"Malignant, malevolent, mendacious"?

I don't think that Richard Littlejohn is Peter Mandleson's biggest fan. In fact I would go as far as to say that lines like

"Putting this odious, discredited creep back into one of the great offices of state is an affront to any definition of decency."

lead me to believe that Richard Littlejohn thinks that Peter Mandleson might not be an entirely positive part of British public life.
