The BBC biased by omission

This BBC report about
"Nottingham's housing service was not consistently operating in the public's best interests between 2003 and 2005 when there were "failings in the culture, systems and management". "
misses one point. Can you guess what?

Yes just like countless times before when the Council is a Labour Council, that fact is not mentioned. If it is a Conservative Council then that is mentioned in the first few sentences if not the actual headline.

Maybe the BBC didn't know from the reports they received and couldn't find the answer. If so here's a journalistic tip for the BBC - type "Nottingham Council" into Google, click on the first link returned to go to the Nottingham Council homepage, then click on "Your council" and there on the page is this line (in a very helpful bold typeface) "Nottingham City Council is controlled by the Labour Party"
