Are these the death throes of this Labour Government

I was rather near the action the night of the Vote of No Confidence in 1979 so the parallels with the Gurkhas vote are interesting. Not as serious obviously but it could be the beginning of the end for Gordon Brown and his rabble of a government; we can but hope.
