How to end "smeargate"

David Cameron is reported to have said in a speech today that

"This Government has been in charge for too long. They have forgotten what they are there for."

and to have called for a general election. Somehow I doubt that the great clunking coward will call a general election but David Cameron might find it interesting to call a vote of no confidence and see how loyal to Gordon Brown the Labour party are right now... Of course turkeys rarely vote for Christmas but it would be good to tie as many of the Labour rabble to Gordon Brown's leadership as possible in the run-up to an election.
