Another good election result

Despite all the hopes of the BBC over the past few weeks and months, the Lebanese did not vote for a Hezbollah lead government. Instead a higher than expected turnout saw a pro-Western coalition win a victory.

I predict two things, one deep disquiet at the BBC at the way that the ignorant, ungracious Lebanese people have turned their back on the brave "fighters" of Hezbollah and also that the Syrians/Hezbollah will assassinate at least one government politician before the end of 2009. They have killed Lebanese politicians before and will do so again.
