Another opinion poll

ComRes for The Independent is the latest poll and it's an odd one:

Conservatives 30% (-10%), Labour 22% (+1%), LibDems 18% (nc)

On the face of it a disaster for the Conservatives albeit that all their voters appear to have gone other than to Labour or the LibDems.

Maybe Gordon Brown will convince himself that the polls, like the economy, are moving in the right direction and that calling a snap general election would be a good idea…

Of course Political Betting may have a rational explanation, or then again maybe the UK political system is in meltdown, maybe Gordon Brown has succeeded in bringing down the whole house of cards on top of him...
