Both Kinnocks

Paul Waugh's blow by blow account of last night's PLP meeting is interesting in its own right but one part really caught my eye:
"It was left to Lord Kinnock to emerge as Brown’s secret weapon, delivering a five-minute tub-thumping speech that quoted Nye Bevan’s call for "common endeavour" and unity. Many MPs said it played directly to their instincts to stick together, but some joked that it was too shouty, and he sounded "a bit like the Sheffield rally"."
It's like the 1990s all over again - Neil Kinnock, references to Nye Bevan, etc. Hopefully the result will the same as 1987 & 1992 as well.
