The Iraq inquiry - update

As I predicted the Iraq inquiry will be in private and as the BBC report Gordon Brown said its aim will be to identify "lessons learned" and not to "apportion blame". Of course the key admission is that it would take more than a year to report, so any embarrassing details would be kept back until after any general election.
