The wake

The BBC Today programme this morning sounds like a cross between a wake and a piece of Labour Party navel gazing. Even James Naughtie in his interview with Harriet Harman sounds like he is losing patience with his party. He even pushed Harriet Harman more than most Today interviewers have in the past, although he still deferred to let her spout the usual mix of platitudes and prepared soundbites.
