Sunday news catchup

So much news, so little time...

1. The Telegraph reports that:

Jack Straw denies the story of course, but who would you rather believe Slippery Jack or The Telegraph? Easy one, no?


2. The BBC report that Gordon "decisive" Brown has finally made his mind over an important issue of national priority:
"Gordon Brown has revealed that he is partial to a chocolate biscuit, after he was accused of sidestepping a question during an online chat.

The prime minister said he had missed a question about his favourite biscuit during the live web chat with the parents' website Mumsnet.

He used the social networking site Twitter to reveal that he likes "anything with a bit of chocolate.""
24 hours to make his mind up over which biscuit he prefers; isn't great to have such a decisive man at the nation's helm?


3. The BBC report with a straight face that:
"Scottish First Minister Alex Salmond has compared his justice secretary's actions to the principles of Indian peace champion Mahatma Gandhi.

It comes in the wake of the decision to release the"
Words fail me, I just wish they would fail Alex Salmond as well.
