Iran - this does not bode well

PA via Google reports that:
"Iran has begun enriching uranium to a higher level over the vociferous objections of the US and its allies who fear the process could eventually be used to give the Islamic republic nuclear weapons."
The Telegraph reports that:
"Tehran confirmed it had begun to refine its stocks of low-enriched uranium to a higher-grade at its nuclear plant in the city of Natanz."
The Telegraph reported that:
"Tehran has announced that it successfully launched a research rocket"

And today The Telegraph reports that:
"Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran's supreme leader, has said that the country was set to deliver a "punch" that will stun world powers during this week's 31st anniversary of the Islamic revolution.

"The Iranian nation, with its unity and God's grace, will punch the arrogance (Western powers) on the 22nd of Bahman (February 11) in a way that will leave them stunned," Khamenei, who is also Iran's commander-in-chief, told a gathering of air force personnel."

I wonder if Feb 11 might be a good day to avoid public spaces in general and airports in particular.

I was watching Newsround on the BBC with my son yesterday and the news item was about Obama pulling the US out of the space race.
It then went on to highlight countries now in the space race and included Iran in this club with footage of a missile launch.
No doubt the BBC want our children to think this is a nice country and not a threat to us?
