A Labour leadership contender said what!

The BBC report that in 2003 John McDonnell
'sparked outrage by saying IRA terrorists should be "honoured" for taking part in their "armed struggle".

...

The MP praised the "bravery" of the IRA, whose "bombs and bullets" had resulted, he said, in the peace process in Northern Ireland.'

Hmm an excuser of IRA terrorism who also said 'that if he could go back in time and do one thing, he would visit the 1980s and "assassinate Thatcher".'

Seems an ideal Labour leader, at least he's honest about his views unlike the cowards, idiots, creeps and thugs that are standing against him. I'll leave it to you to decide which of the other Labour leadership contenders fall into which one (or more) of these categories.
