Mark Williams said...: 30% public school is a lot when only 5% of the population were privately educated, and I bet the 50% of the remaining 70% that weren't from the colonies went to grammar schools.

Of course the percentage of public school educated officers would have been higher in the army and navy where there would have been longstanding family connections.; 24 June 2014 at 11:33
