The BBC treatment of Israel as opposed to Iran

The BBC report that:
"Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman has said his country is not planning unilateral military action to disable Iran's nuclear programme."
This doesn't seem any different to the way that the BBC report Iran's denials of plans to wipe Israel off of the map. However this later extract reads oddly:
"The right-winger, who grew up in the Soviet Union, has a reputation for outspoken rhetoric: it is not clear how his words square with other policy statements on Iran by Israeli government officials. "
It is odd how the BBC instinctively mistrust any statement made by a "right-winger" Israeli but trust the equivalent Iranian spokesman.
