Shahid Malik back in the news

Having been cleared by Gordon Brown's adviser on ministerial rules, Sir Philip Mawer, of any failure to comply with the Ministerial code, Shahid Malik was appointed to another government role. On Tuesday the Prime Minister refused to publish Sir Philip’s report, presumably as part of his commitment to open government.

Today I read in The Telegraph that:
"Shahid Malik has admitted that the taxpayer had met the costs of office space in his constituency house and his designated second home in London simultaneously. "
Is there a record for the shortest time between resignations/sackings for the the same Minister? I presume that one of Peter Mandelson or David Blunkett hold the Cabinet record.
