What will the excuses be?

Every election I like to guess what the excuses will be. So what will the Labour party's representatives on the media shows excuses be? Our reduced vote is due to the expenses scandal; why is nobody picking up on the Lord Ashcroft tax questions? The lack of votes means that we must change the electoral system to ensure perpetual Labour government.

I expect the Conservatives to do less well than the polls have predicted, so what will the excuses be? Our reduced vote is due to the public's dissatisfaction with politics as a whole; it is time for change, we want a general election.

What about the LibDems etc. etc.
