BBC pin-up Hugo Chavez shows his grasp on reality
So that's the BBC's dictator of choice, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, accusing the United States of causing the earthquake in Haiti. It seems that Chavez believes the U.S. was testing a tectonic weapon to produce eco-type devastation. Last week it was reported that Chavez had accused the United States of using Haiti’s earthquake as a pretext to occupy the Caribbean country. It seems that Chavez has said that these "weapon earthquakes" would eventually be used against Iran and that these weapons can alter the climate and set off earthquakes and volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves.
Hmmm, I say "wibble", what say the BBC who seem not have reported the latest ravings of their number two favourite dictator - number one is of course Fidel Castro.

Yes the Americans do have an earthquake weapon.
It is a satellite in space orbiting the earth.
Hang on, that was a film i watched a few years ago called Under siege 2.
I think that is what Chavesz was watching before he came up with his comments.
Well, there is always enough conspiracy theories, but on this very subject it is not a crazy idea. Please, read the book project HAARP, in Alaska (about the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program). You will grasp some interesting facts.
The eco-weapons has been long time ago a sweet dream for the Pentagon. In fact, on 1997 the Defence Secretary declared in front of a Congress's Committee that such weapons, like those able to active earthquakes or volcanoes, were already available and he was asking urgent investments to develop the US version of it. Just remember that the Pentagon already has the bomb just-kill-people, leaving behind intact all the infrastructures.
