There's even an app for that!

Vanity Fair reports on a very moving new app:
'We’ve all found ourselves in need of a toilet at the most inopportune moment: in the middle of a dinner date, say, or as the kicker’s lining up for a field goal in the fourth quarter. PooTime ($1.99), a neat little app from VoidLogic, won’t stifle nature’s call, but it will forewarn you well in advance of when your next bowel movement will require evacuation.

Here’s how it works: After each meal and snack, you simply open the app and quickly click through a series of simple, survey-like questions on what you ate, and in what quantity. (Little to no typing required; VoidLogic is remarkably thorough in its scroll-down menus, with everything from spring rolls to ham steak to conch fritters listed among its comestible options.) PooTime, whose creators collaborated with a team of gastroenterologists at Johns Hopkins, calculates with uncanny accuracy when you’ll next need to defecate, allowing you to plan your day (and night) accordingly. It also can be set to text you a notification of when you’re within 30 minutes of needing to go.'
Words fail me... there really is an app for everything.

Apparently an app a day helps keeps you regular...
