BBC Brown nosing

Last night I caught the 7pm news bulletin on Radio 4, this is a brief less than 2 minute bulletin between the end of the 6:30pm comedy programme and the Archers. This bulletin is usually just the headlines and a very brief story summary, but last night was a little different. Last night's bulletin ignored PMQs apart from broadcasting the news that Gordon Brown had sent his best wishes to England's rugby team; headline news? Then the BBC played a soundbite of Gordon Brown saying "As someone who, like my hon. Friend, follows rugby, and met the England team recently, I wish to send our best wishes so that England returns with the world cup on Saturday night." This was nothing other than a piece of BBC/NuLab propaganda to "big up" the BBC's beloved Prime Minister. Unbiased news broadcasting, don't make me laugh.

Here's your precious Prime Minister, BBC, as you won't show him

Until the BBC stop acting as the propaganda arm of the BBC why should the public be forced to pay the licence fee.
