Sold down the river
Sold down the river by a government of liars. We were promised a referendum on the EU Constitution by this NuLab government, admittedly only as an cynical measure to negate a possibly popular Conservative party policy. This EU Treaty is as close to the EU Constitution as makes little difference and the outcome is even closer. The red lines are all but worthless and very similar to those which the Government had achieved on the Constitution but they still promised a referendum on that. This government are cynically lieing to the public of this country and I am not sure what we can do about it.

"And I'm not sure what we can do about it"
Whenever you hear any quisling politician stating how this treaty will benefit Britain, ask him how.
Whenever you hear any quisling politician stating this treaty is simply to make the EU "more efficient" ask him how.
Whenever you hear any quisling politician saying that this treaty is simply a "tidying up excercise" ask him how.
These are the questions they won't (and indeed can't) answer. So demand they answer, and keep on demanding!
Once it becomes clear to all and sundry that all their claims are totally spurious, the arguments for a constitution will crumble.
