BBC’s ME editor ditches impartiality in portrayal of ‘international law’ per BBC Watch

This is a fascinating read https://bbcwatch.org/2017/02/19/bbcs-me-editor-ditches-impartiality-in-portrayal-of-international-law/ and its detailing of Jeremy Bowen's actions is clear.

The last thought bears repetition here:

'When the BBC covers stories concerning disputed territory in places such as Cyprus or in Western Sahara it does not find it necessary or appropriate to provide its audiences with an opinion on what is legal or illegal. The difference of course is that the BBC has not adopted a campaigning role in relation to those locations. '

Whereas it does with relation to Israel. The BBC is institutionally anti Israel as I assume the Balen Report showed, which is why the BBC is so desperate to keep it hidden.
