Stand by for a nasty week

Now watch the Labour attack dogs as they pour on the bile over the next week. Gordon Brown is desperate to hold the election before the economy's collapse becomes too advanced for even the BBC to ignore, but he needs the security blanket of a large poll lead. Personal attacks on the Conservative party leadership will be the order of the day, the keywords will be Eton, privilege, wealthy parents, silver spoon and toff. Will the tactic work? It has in the past but I think a "time for a change" mood is building.
