What really happened at Kaupthing Singer and Freidlander?

These people think they know... and their main charge is that
"... in a nutshell, The UK Government told the Isle of Man bank to put half a billion pounds in the bank which it subsequently forced into liquidation."
I am not sure how much of the tale is 100% accurate but it is a riveting read.

I heard about that from a distant relative in Australia when he sent a Help! email. From what I gather, it is 99.9% true. He lost his family and entire life savings because of it. Not sure why it never made the news headlines but yes that website does seem to confirm what he said.

PS. Love your blog goaty :-)

Peter Brown (Jim for Justice) works for the UK and is hell-bent on diverting the blame away from Westminster. He hasn't even lost any money!!!

This is a sad reflection on the depths the UK is willing to stoop to.
