The Mail article is the usual shock, horror piece about the type of Islamic extremists who openly call for the overthrow of the British government and now the killing of MPs , whilst claiming state benefits.
One line that leapt out at me was this one, that shows that for all The Mail's posturing on this issue, they still don't get it:
'He was radicalised after inviting Omar Bakri Mohammed (an extremist Muslim cleric now banned from Britain) to speak at the university'Interesting that The Mail believes that a non-radicalised Muslim could invite a hate-monger like Omar Bakri Mohammed to speak in the UK.
Here are the words of Omar Bakri Mohammed from 2008:
"Do not obey the British law," Bakri told them. He praised his hero Osama bin Laden for being a warrior and exclaimed: "We must fight and die for Islam - this is the map and road to Jennah [heaven]." He said that Muslims did not need to obey man-made laws and that if anyone ordered them to, they should say they are Muslims "loud and proud".
