Theresa May presses EU leaders on defence spending per BBC News

This BBC report http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-38849868 includes this comment:

'Nato estimates for 2016 show that only five alliance members - the US, UK, Greece, Poland and Estonia - will spend a minimum of 2% of national output (GDP) on defence, which is the target.'

Reading on it is odd that the BBC aren't at all exercised by countries not meeting their NATO defence spending targets but really really angry at any suggestion that the UK not meet its International Development budget.

I suppose that for the internationalist, no Borders, BBC, defence of the realm is less important than transferring money from UK taxpayers to the rich elite of third world countries. Mercedes Benz dealers need that money...
