Merry Christmas from the Guido Team

I am not a sheep, I have my own mind
I have had enough of being told what and how to think
Whilst we are still allowed the remnants of free speech,
I will speak out.
I also reserve the right to discuss less controversial matters should I feel the urge.

Except that cities, towns and villages usually have some sort of legal status. In ancient England a settlement needed to have a church to be called a village. Everything that isn't a city, town or village is a settlement.
I don't think 'settlements' in Israel will all have a church. More likely to be the case than anywhere in Saudi Arabia of course. 'Settlements' in Israel do have legal status, how big do you think some of these 'settlements' are?
I think some of the "settlements" are comparable in size to small cities, and I think they are considered to be cities by Israel, but not necessarily by the Palestinians or the "international community", but on the other hand several settlements have been abandoned/evacuated.
The Palestinians, or at least their leaders/rulers, deny the right of existence to all of Israel, so not a great argument.
