The BBC are shameless

The BBC like using experts to explain issues to their website readers. It's the Republican Party's National Convention so the BBC have an analysis piece from someone billed at the top of the article as 'PJ Crowley is a former US assistant secretary of state and now a professor of practice and fellow at the Institute for Public Diplomacy and Global Communication at The George Washington University.'

The piece is a gentle attack on Mitt Romney as you would expect from someone who in 2009 was nominated by President Barack Obama to be Assistant Secretary of State for Public Affairs. A Democrat commenting on the Republican candidate for President but not being identified as such. Can we expect the BBC to ask a former Republican to comment negatively on Barack Obama's speech to the Democratic Convention, and not identify him/her as a Republican? I think we all know the answers to those questions...
