Inbetweeners 2 waterslide scene blamed for 'abhorrent craze' of 'logging' per Daily Mail Online

Words fail me...
'Holidaymakers are falling ill because youngsters deliberately poo in the pool - a craze fuelled by the Inbetweeners 2 film.'
Logging' is inspired by the scene in the 2014 film when Neil (Blake Harrison) poos down a waterslide at a water park.Travel companies have threatened to fine those caught pooing in the pool, as dozens of tourists have been taken ill as a result.'

Ed Miliband speaks... rubbish mostly

Ed Miliband on BBC Radio Swindon showing how well briefed he is and repeating himself as usual...

Ed Miliband showing how out of touch he is on Good Morning Britain...

If this had been a Conservative, UKIP or maybe even a Lib Dem senior politician then the BBC would be all over these stories and the BBC's tame satirical comedians would be revving up the lazy jokes to garner easy laughts. However as this was the Labour leader (no really, he is) the silence will be deafening.

Remember Ed Miliband has form with these brain freeze moments, here he is stuck on repeat in 2011...

Does anyone not think this is one of the most embarrassing political interviews ever? Yet for the BBC it's been forgotten, did it even appear on Have I Got News For You?

To be fair, Ed Miliband has embarrassed himself on other TV networks as well, here he is on Channel 4 last year

Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville set to rebuild Manchester shul | The Jewish Chronicle

The weirdest Jewish Chronicle story ever? Apparently 'Gary Neville and Ryan Giggs are set to become the first Premier League footballers to own and run a synagogue.'

The most incredible piece of CCTV video ever

A dog, a lift, a long lead and a man with 30 eggs... what could possibly go wrong?

LiveLeak.com - Dog escapes near death in an elevator

How did 10 eggs survive that?

I couldn't embed that LiveLeak video (does anyone know how to do that now) but here's a brave dog rescue in similar circumstances from Russia.

BBC News - Tomato excuse for prostitute in car in Dudley

'A man caught with a prostitute in his car told police she was there to show him where to buy tomatoes.'
More here http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-birmingham-23449261

Tomatoes is funny but funnier would be; turnips (think Baldrick) or cucumber. Obviously funniest of all would be PLUMS...

Weird story of the week

The Sun report that:
'WACKY Bob and Lizzie Gibbins share their bungalow with a world-beating collection - of 240 love dolls.

The couple choose and name the "girls" together and go shopping once a month for new outfits, wigs and make-up, costing £100,000 so far.

...

Dad-of-two Bob, 60 - who takes a favourite, Patsy, for drives - said: "A lot of love doll owners use them for sex but I've never been interested in them in that way."

...

Lizzie, 55, added: "It is a hobby Bob and I share together. We just enjoy dressing them up."'
Here's the video...

There are plenty of photos on the Sun website....

Tasteful?

Crown Jewels Condoms ask us to 'Lie back and think of England' as they announce that:
'To celebrate the engagement of Prince William of Wales to Ms. Catherine Elizabeth Middleton, Crown Jewels Condoms of Distinction has commissioned a unique heritage edition Royal Wedding Souvenir boîte de capotes.

Combining the strength of a Prince with the yielding sensitivity of a Princess-to-be, Crown Jewels condoms promise a royal union of pleasure. Truly a King amongst Condoms.

* Presented in a timeless souvenir heirloom collector's box.
* Contains three individually wrapped condoms.
* Includes a collectable portrait of the Royal Couple as they might appear on their wedding day – exclusively created for Crown Jewels.'
Tasteful, very tasteful. And then the pretty unnecessary disclaimer:
'Crown Jewels Royal Wedding Souvenir Condoms are not supplied to, or approved by, Prince William of Wales, Catherine Middleton or any member of the Royal Family.'
I am shocked!  And not just by the misspelling of collectible...

Also bear in mind that:
'Crown Jewels Royal Wedding Souvenir Condoms are a novelty condom not suitable for contraception or protection against STDs.'
pardon my ignorance but other than preventing pregnancy or avoiding STDs why would you wear a condom? Patriotism excepted!

What else is there to say other than it's a news report about people pole dancing for Jesus.

There's even an app for that!

Vanity Fair reports on a very moving new app:
'We’ve all found ourselves in need of a toilet at the most inopportune moment: in the middle of a dinner date, say, or as the kicker’s lining up for a field goal in the fourth quarter. PooTime ($1.99), a neat little app from VoidLogic, won’t stifle nature’s call, but it will forewarn you well in advance of when your next bowel movement will require evacuation.

Here’s how it works: After each meal and snack, you simply open the app and quickly click through a series of simple, survey-like questions on what you ate, and in what quantity. (Little to no typing required; VoidLogic is remarkably thorough in its scroll-down menus, with everything from spring rolls to ham steak to conch fritters listed among its comestible options.) PooTime, whose creators collaborated with a team of gastroenterologists at Johns Hopkins, calculates with uncanny accuracy when you’ll next need to defecate, allowing you to plan your day (and night) accordingly. It also can be set to text you a notification of when you’re within 30 minutes of needing to go.'
Words fail me... there really is an app for everything.

Apparently an app a day helps keeps you regular...
