It's not just Honda

Further to my earlier article about Honda's troubles, it seems that this might be only a piece of a larger jigsaw. Suzuki and Subaru have pulled out of the WRC (World Rally Championship) and Toyota are rumoured to be considering joining Honda in pulling out of Formula 1.

Japanese car companies are obviously feeling the pinch, along with the American giants, so how long before Ford have to leave WRC as well as Subaru?

How much trouble are Honda in?

I have a huge amount of respect for Honda cars, I have owned a few and lusted after a few more. So the news that Honda are pulling out of Formula 1 followed up with the news that they have cancelled the new NSX leaves me a little worried as to what the future holds for one of the world's most innovative car makers. What would Soichiro Honda make of it all?
