Should this man have been released from jail?

I read in The Telegraph that

'A convicted terrorist has addressed a crowd of supporters outside jail minutes after his release and called for a boycott of poppies because they support "murder and illegal war."

Minutes after he was released from jail, Brooks climbed on the 9ft outer wall of Pentonville prison to shouts of “Allahu Akhbar” [god is great] from dozens of followers.

He then accused British troops in Afghanistan of torture, rape and killing and called for a boycott of poppies sold by the Royal British Legion.

Brooks told the crowd: "The troops are carrying out illegal murders abroad. Houses are being destroyed, mosques are being destroyed. Muslims are being murdered and tortured by the forces.

"I would advise everyone to look to their conscience and see if supporting the occupation of an independent state which involves killing, bombing and interring people's houses is something they can sit with in their hearts.”

He went on: "The troops are occupying foreign lands. That’s what a soldier’s job is – it’s to bomb houses and to kick doors in. It’s to rape them, it’s to handcuff them, it’s to rob them.”

Brooks said if Britain wad not in Iraq and Afghanistan “we would not be a target for terrorism.”

“The actions of our government has brought the target back to us,” he added.

Asked if he was willing to condemn the September 11 and July 7 terrorist attacks, he refused to do so, saying: "I am not obliged to condemn anything.”

Brooks also called for Sharia law in Britain, saying his trial had been political and added: "I've seen with my own eyes the injustices that muslims are facing in this country.

"As a Muslim in the UK you are guilty, in effect, for who you are. In the courts you are innocent until proven Muslim.

"The only solution for us is to establish our own legal courts where Muslims can be tried under Sharia in the UK.”'

Don't forget the words of Brooks in 2004:

'“Allah will remove all the kufr [disbelievers] from the earth, and how? With dua [prayers] or with some books? No my dear Muslim brothers with jihad for the sake of Allah…So we are terrorists, terrify the enemies of Allah.”

Brooks said anybody who sought “dignity outside of shariah [Islamic law]” would be “humiliated.”

In another speech, recorded two years later in Small Heath, Birmingham, Brooks asked his audience; “Are you ready for another 7/7?”'

I would hope that the British police and security services will be keeping a very close eye on this person to ensure that he does not incite anyone with dangerous rhetoric. But somehow I doubt that that will be the case; what is more likely is that Abu Izzadeen, aka Omar Brooks, will be the recipient of police protection.

The water vapour positive feedback system that isn't

The Man Made Global Warming 'mistakes' seem to be coming out of the woodwork almost daily. Tom Nelson has news of another:

"The global warming scientists, major climate research centers, the IPCC, environmental NGOs, and global warming activists and pundits have all claimed that the "robust & rigorous" climate models prove that when human CO2 increases, then global atmospheric temperatures will have to increase, which will then cause surface water evaporation to increase, that subsequently causes water vapor in the atmosphere to increase, which finally sets in motion a positive feedback system that causes all the previous items to even increase more, ad nauseum. Unfortunately, the "expert" climate scientists are now discovering those models might not have it quite right, since atmospheric water vapor is doing the exact opposite of what the climate models predicted! Gee, what a surprise."

Another Man Made Climate Change scientific 'mistake' in the modelling, I am shocked...

“Manningham belongs to Muslims. We don’t want whites. We rule Bradford. We are going to get you out.”

The Telegraph has the details:

"A teenager, Amir Rehman, who stabbed and slashed a random passer-by in a brutal racially motivated attack in Manningham, West Yorkshire, has been jailed for five years.

Rehman, 18, shouted racial abuse as 51-year-old Ronald O'Connor walked to a shop for a loaf of bread, near the gates of Lister Park, Manningham, last December.

Leeds Crown Court heard that Rehman shouted: "Manningham belongs to Muslims. We dont want whites. We rule Bradford. We are going to get you out."

His victim tried to get in the shop, but Rehman ran towards him and stabbed him twice in the upper arm with a four to five-inch bladed knife.

Rehman, of Manningham, tried to slash Mr O'Connor's face and the victim also had the palms of his hands slashed as he tried to defend himself.

Richard Gioserano, prosecuting, said: "Rehman was swinging at him over and over again with the knife. Mr O'Connor was in great pain and in fear, literally, of his life." "

I have heard Muslims describe areas as "ours" before, remember Abu Izzadeen telling John Reid "How dare you come to a Muslim area when over 1,000 Muslims have been arrested? ... You are an enemy of Islam and Muslims, you are a tyrant. Shame on all of us for sitting down and listening to him." Expect more of this talk as the demographics change in many British cities.

Abu Izzadeen (aka Omar Brooks)

Abu Izzadeen (aka Omar Brooks) has been found guilty of incitement to terrorism abroad along with three of his associates, Abdul Rehman Saleem, also known as Abu Yahya, the convert Simon Keeler, also known as Suliman Keeler, and Ibrahim Abdullah Hassan. Brooks, Keeler and two other men, Shah Jalal Hussain and Abdul Muhid were found guilty of collecting money for terrorists in Iraq. Hussain skipped bail while the jury were deliberating and is now on the run.

This is the sort of thing that Abu Izzadeen said:

The Rt Rev Michael Nazir-Ali's comments - I recall something

Something was bugging in me about the fuss over The Rt Rev Michael Nazir-Ali's comments. It was the way the media and some "commentators" were saying where are these no-go areas. Then it hit me... Cast your mind back to September 2006 when the then Home Secretary John Reid was making a speech in Leytonstone, East London. He was interrupted by Abu Izzadeen (aka Omar Brooks).
