MSNBC will correct their "factually wrong" graphic, but it's too late bthe damage has already been done

I have seen this MSNBC graphic on Twitter, Facebook and elsewhere. Usually it's been posted by ignorant or deluded anti-Israel, often actually anti-Semitic, types who were quick to jump on the original story but will ignore the retraction. MSNBC can correct their mistake today but the damage has already been done - anti-Israel feeling has been increased and along with that anti-Semitism.

The Charlie Hebdo massacre - How the West will respond

Yesterday I read this Breitbart article by James Delingpole. It was highly prescient as pont after point became reality. Of course that was predictable as the West and it's dhimmified media are entirely predictable. Here's three James Delingpole's predictions that have already come true:

Again and again sensible, logical people point out the truth but the majority of the west's governments and media are too blind or deaf to listen. They prefer to believe that Islam is 'the religion of peace' and that the West is always to blame.

But Israeli soldiers do this all the time!

This image has been spreading around the Internet recently and is being used as example of how Israeli soldiers treat Palestinian children.

This would indeed be horrible and a sad indictment of Israel's attitude towards Palestinian children were it not for the rather inconvenient (for the anti-Israel fanatics) fact that the picture is not what it seems.

In fact the soldier in the photo appears to be holding a Kalashnikov AK47 which is not used by the Israeli army or police, they prefer M4 & M16s, but is in widespread usage amongst Palestinian police, terrorist organisations and other of that ilk throughout the world. That's not an Israeli army or police uniform either.

Of course facts don't count for much in the world of those whose wish is to blacken Israel's name and image. There is a war going on in cyberspace, especially on the social networks, and I know which side I am on... Truth and Israel rather than lies and terrorism.

Once again a Western establishment just cannot face facts

Last year Yonathan Melaku drove through Washington DC shooting at other cars and buildings, thankfully n. obody was killed. The Washington Post reports that:

'It was all part of a solitary campaign of “fear and terror,” federal prosecutors said. But authorities and Melaku’s defense attorney said no one knows for sure what led Melaku — a naturalized U.S. citizen from Ethi­o­pia, local high school graduate and former Marine Corps Reservist — down that path or what message he was trying to send.

Gregory English, Melaku’s defense lawyer, said after the hearing that Melaku’s family is of the Coptic Christian faith and that they were stunned to learn of his involvement in the crimes and the references to Islamic jihad. English said Melaku thought that by shooting at the buildings he did, late at night, no one would get hurt. English said the video was intended for YouTube.

UYes his motives are utterly inexplicable; unless you watch the self shot video taken the night he went shooting...

As the Washington Post reports 'A video found after Melaku’s arrest showed him wearing a black mask and shooting a 9mm handgun out of his Acura’s passenger window as he drove along Interstate 95, shouting “Allahu Akbar!”'

Actually this award is a bit unfair as Benjamin Netanyahu knows this to be the case and has done for years. The award for stupidity should really go to the Middle East 'experts' in western governments and media (especially the BBC) who spread the lie that the Israeli/Palestinian dispute is about 1967 when so much points to it being about Israel's actual right to exist. If anyone doubts this then just read through my articles about Hamas, Fatah and the many many links that I refer to in my pieces.


Hamas are on record as wanting to "slaughter all Jews" and look forward to the day that "Islam will obliterate (Israel). Fatah's Chairman Yasser Arafat is on record as saying "Since we cannot defeat Israel in war, we do this in stages. We take any and every territory that we can of Palestine, and establish a sovereignty there, and we use it as a springboard to take more. When the time comes, we can get the Arab nations to join us for the final blow against Israel."

So the Palestinian people's leaders aims are clear so why are so many in the west in denial, or do they know the truth as well and agree with the aims of Hamas and Fatah?

When did deflation stop being the worry?

I have been banging on about inflation being the coming concern for many many months, whilst for a very long time the official line was that deflation was the worry. Last April I blogged that:

'I predicted that Gordon Brown's panic policy of quantitative easing would lead to inflation and I was right. Gordon Brown and Alistair Darling, assisted by the pro-Labour BBC, pushed the idea that deflation was the real worry; I think we all know that was complete crap. Here are the inflation rates of our current economic peers - USA 1.1%, Germany 1.2%, France 1.7%, Italy 1.4%, Spain 1.5% and here's the rate of a country that will soon be our peer if Gordon Brown's reign of incompetence is not ended on 6 May - Zimbabwe around 200,000,000%

Gordon Brown calculated that by creating fake prosperity based on property prices and other debt he could ensure his hold on power. The system crashed before he could hold an election and so he used quantatative easing to artificially boost the economy by pushing a fear of deflation. What excuse will he use for the next bout of bank note printing?

If George Osborne, David Cameron and Ken Clarke cannot tear Gordon Brown apart over this then they do not deserve to win the election. '

Governments printing money to get out of a problem leads to inflation every time and this time will be no different. Don't say you weren't warned... '

'Rotherham men' no further description is needed because all Rotherham men are the same.


The Mail reports the same story:

The five men preyed on their victims over several months and threatened them with violence if they refused their advances.

So to The Mail these are 'Asian men' from Rotherham.

However even this is not the whole story, so before Hindu men get upset on Diwali, Sikh men reach for their kirpan, Buddhists start chanting Oh Mani Padme etc. etc. etc. Let me explain that the BBC's 'Rotherham men' and The Mail's 'Asian men' are in fact 'Muslim men of Pakistani descent living in Rotherham'.

This is not the first story that I have read of Muslim men in the UK taking sexual advantage of young white women and I doubt it will be the last; but for so long as the British media refuse to describe the perpatrators for what they are, the problem cannot be addressed.

Hamas, Fatah, Israel & a return to 1967 borders

The useful fools in the West who blame Israel for everything that is wrong with the Middle East, assure us that Fatah and Hama just want Israel to return to its 1967 borders and all will be fine. This is of course dangerous nonsense, here's just a few examples of Hamas and Gatah leaders leting out the truth over the years:

1) March 31, 1977, the Dutch newspaper Trouw published an interview with Palestine Liberation Organization executive committee member Zahir Muhsein. Here's what he said:

"The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct "Palestinian people" to oppose Zionism.

For tactical reasons, Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem. However, the moment we reclaim our right to all of Palestine, we will not wait even a minute to unite Palestine and Jordan."

Remember that Haifa comment, that is very relevant today - see 3).


2) On the same day Yasser Arafat signed the Declaration of Principles on the White House lawn in 1993, he explained his actions on Jordan TV thus

3) YNet report:

'Fathi Hamas, Gaza's interior minister, visits Khan Younis University and threatens to seize Israeli cities with help of 'armies from all around the world.'

Turning to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Hamad said, "We are coming to occupy Haifa and Akko. We'll have armies from all around the world, and the convoys arriving in Gaza are carrying a message to our people, saying that we must stick to the path of jihad. The enemy is trying to impose a siege on us, but they are the ones under a siege and behind fences." '

When talking to the West, Hamas & Fatah say one thing about peace and living alongside Israel but when talking to other Muslims the story is somewhat different. Here are some examples of what Hamas clerics and other Palestinian religious leaders say when they think the west is not listening:

'Strong concerns that terrorist teams in Europe have selected their targets, completed their surveillance, eluded capture and are now ready to strike at airports and tourist attractions have prompted the State Department to ready a highly unusual travel advisory for Europe, multiple law enforcement and intelligence sources tell ABC News.

Intelligence and law enforcement officials have information that the teams could at any time launch a "Mumbai style" terror attack that targets civilians for death or hostage taking. The 2008 Mumbai attack used small arms and explosives to kill 175 people and paralyze the Indian city for days.

The current concerns are for scenarios that include opening fire at airports in Europe as well as executing similar attacks at "soft" targets like tourist attractions or hotels.

According to ABC News sources, the terror plotters have moved through the surveillance stage, checked back in with al Qaeda in Pakistan, and have received the go-ahead to strike.

Officials said earlier that Osama bin Laden had approved or blessed the attack plan.

The suspects reportedly include British and German citizens, who may be of Pakistani or Afghan ethnicity.

European and U.S. authorities first learned of the plot over the summer following the capture of a suspected German terrorist who had been training in Pakistan.

Intensified drone strikes in Pakistan have been confirmed as in part aimed at paralyzing the attackers.

Recent law enforcement operations within the United States have helped to flush out chatter that added to earlier concerns about the U.S. homeland as a possible additional target of the attacks.

Known targets are believed to include England, France and Germany. Additional European countries, including Italy and Belgium, are also targets, multiple sources say.

As the threat picture continues to unfold it appears to include the possibility of multiple coordinated attacks in multiple countries. As such, it would be the most significant al Qaeda plot to have reached the operational stage in recent years.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) had no official comment, but sources say no change in the U.S. threat level is expected unless specific information regarding a U.S. threat develops.'

Did you spot the missing words in the above report? Can I remind you that the Pakistani funded terrorists who massacred so many in Bombay/Mumbai were Islamic jihadis, one clue was their choice of a Jewish centre to attack. Might then the word 'Muslim' or 'Islamic' have found its way into the report? Unless I am wrong and the expected attacks are by pissed off Buddhists or Parsees who have allied themselves with Al Qaeda...

More media casual insulting of George W. Bush

T3 magazine this month has a piece on 'Mad Props' which includes a section on Forrest Gump's Nike Cortez's running shoes. This includes this thought

'You'd think having someone mentally challenged promote your wares would be a bad move but given that the USA voted in George W. Bush six years later, maybe not. Zing!'

Here's a piece of mine from a while ago explaining why it is unlikely that George W. Bush was a moron. So as I said in 2007,

'what George Bush is, is inarticulate. He doesn't always come up with the right word in the right situation, but he is not stupid.'
