Maybe we should see this as encouraging news!

I know I am usually a 'glass half empty' blogger but this morning's news as reported by Biased-BBC that 49% of schoolchildren rate climate change as the second biggest threat facing humanity leaves me quite heartened. If after being exposed to years and years of incessant pro-climate change propaganda from their schools and media only 49% have fallen for the lie then maybe there is hope.

Government propaganda

It looks as though this Labour government really do believe that they actually are the political wing of the British people and as this is the case why not fund propaganda pieces for television broadcasting. It appears that the Labour government have spent £2 million on television programmes that promote government policies without the programmes making clear that they were funding the making of the programmes. Read more about this story here and wonder at the sheer cheek of this Labour government, they really don't care about propriety.

Another wedding party?

The BBC are reporting that:

"At least 20 people have been killed in a missile strike by coalition forces in Afghan's eastern Nangarhar province.

Local people say that the group was a wedding party and most of the dead were women and children."

It is incredible how many "wedding parties" are attacked by the Americans. Are the Americans targetting "wedding parties" or are they "wedding parties" in the same way that the Iraqis seemed to have a lot of baby food factories destroyed in the first Gulf war?

Power cuts necessitate candles

The Palestinians and the Arab countries are the masters of the power of propaganda, just take a look at the following links for some historical context - here, here and here.

Do you notice something odd about this photo? I'll give you a clue, why are they using candles? Presumably because there is no electricity to power the lights. Now look at the curtains, they are drawn but it is still daylight outside, so why do they need the candles? The answer is they don't, it is just a put up job. You can see more on this matter here.


You can also read about it at The Jerusalem Post in a piece entitled "Palestinian journalists: Hamas staged blackouts" written by "KHALED ABU TOAMEH" that would be a Muslim working as a journalist for an Israeli newspaper, I wonder how many Jews are employed as journalists by newspapers in Muslim countries.

It is rumoured that The Arab News had the same story but I have been unable to find it there.
