Have The White House, The State Department and Barack Obama lied to us?

Glenn Beck believes so...

Listen especially to the questions Glenn Beck asks from 7:07 to 8:13 and ask yourself why these sorts of questions are not being asked by any mainstream news channel or even the BBC? Are the unbiased media so set on helping Barack Obama be reelected that even a pretense of unbiased reporting is beyond them?

The Muslim Brotherhood and the Obama government

Especially watch this extract from a Glenn Beck programme from 08:35 and from 12:00 best have a stiff drink. From 18:30 listen to the wake-up calls and wonder why our governments don't wake up.

For background to the first part of this this investigate the Muslim Brotherhood, here's something to start you off (from Jihad Watch:
'In a captured internal Muslim Brotherhood document, Brotherhood operatives in the U.S. are told that they “must understand that their work in America is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and “sabotaging” its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.”

And at a Muslim event in California in 1998, CAIR cofounder and longtime Board chairman Omar Ahmad was quoted as saying: “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on earth.”'
Are you worried yet? You should be.

Answering the critics

I seem to have attracted another critic. In case you have missed his comments and my responses:

To my article entitled "How many are children?"

Anonymous Anonymous said...
Clearly the killing or imprisonment of any child is wrong, regardless of their nationality. Was simply making the point that children on both sides of the conflict suffer - what exactly is wrong with that position? Oh, and I was thinking of doing lasagne...

I would say the killing of any child is wrong. Imprisonment would depnd on what the child in question had been found guilty of doing. If the child was guilty of murder, attempted murder, violent assault or other serious crimes then why should they not be imprisoned? Hamas and Hezbollah use children as weapons and as willing covers for their terrorist activities; should such children be exempt from punishment? The age of criminal responsibility is 10 in the UK. I know plenty of under 10s who know the difference between right and wrong, and more should know the difference. Sorry I already have sausages under the grill...

Hmm. By thinking as you do you are perpetuating the separation, keeping apart by coming out on the 'other side' from the side you hate. Would it be so wrong to say that BOTH sides are killers and BOTH sides have, most likely EQUALLY, killed children and innocent people of all ages? Would it be impertinent to suggest that BOTH are living in the past and that, in todays world, to kill for religion is tantamount to treating people as animals. We really can know better. ANY child killed is an innocent victim. There is no such thing as collateral damage and Israel are certainly not innocent as Palestine are neither. I think posting such things are bringing down the fun side of the site in my opinion, a pity as I recently found (and started to enjoy reading) you. I don't eat sausages...or Lasagna

Paul H: Oh dear oh dear, you really don't get it do you? Time for a some light Fisking I feel: 'Hmm. By thinking as you do you are perpetuating the separation, keeping apart by coming out on the 'other side' from the side you hate.' I don't 'hate' the 'other side'. However even if I did, I would do nothing more than blog. The 'other side' blow up pizza parlors full of innocent teenagers, slit the throats of innocent children & their parents and are on record as wanting to kill all Jews in Israel & the rest of the world. Tell me, who is full of hate? 'Would it be so wrong to say that BOTH sides are killers and BOTH sides have, most likely EQUALLY, killed children and innocent people of all ages?' Yes, it would be quite wrong. Islamic terrorists deliberately set out to kill as many innocent Jewish adults & children as possible. By way of contrast the Israeli armed forces do all they can to not kill innocent Palestinian children, even when they are being used as human shields by their Hamas or Fatah terrorist elders. 'Would it be impertinent to suggest that BOTH are living in the past and that, in todays world, to kill for religion is tantamount to treating people as animals. We really can know better.' If you characterise believeing in religion as 'living in th epast' then maybe you have a point BUT there is an important distinction - Islamic terrorists, as products of centuries of brainwashing kill on behalf of their religion (or maybe a perverted idea of that religion - that is a bigger point), israel kills to protect itself from destruction. If you want to test that theory, ask yourself this - If the Palestinians laid down their weapons and recognised Israel's right to exist, what would happen? Would Israel let the Palestinians live in peace? If however Israel disbanded its armies and the Palestinians did not, what would happen? Would the Palestinians let Israel live in peace, alive? 'ANY child killed is an innocent victim.' Is that ALWAYS the case? What if a 15-year old Palestinan decides to try and blow themselves up in a crowded Jerusalem cafe thus killing dozens of teenage Jews. Would you call that 'child' an 'innocent victim'? 'There is no such thing as collateral damage' Really? As I have said before, the Islamic terrorists want to kill as many innocent people as possible, Israel tries not to kill the innocent people who the Islamic terrorists often hide amongst. 'and Israel are certainly not innocent as Palestine are neither.' Well you are half right, quite good for you. 'I think posting such things are bringing down the fun side of the site in my opinion, a pity as I recently found (and started to enjoy reading) you.' The fun things are an aside not the point of this blog, if you don't understand that then... 'I don't eat sausages...or Lasagna' That's OK I don't think I would want to partake of dinner with you.

So you think the Muslim Brotherhood are 'largely secular' and 'have eschewed violence'? Do you? Really? Just because you ridule Glenn Beck does that mean everything he says is untrue?

He has a point about Glenn Beck. To say the truth is found on his own sensationalist tabloid fluff disguised as patriotic passion, is one of the worst examples of a pseudo news source. Sorry but I was with you until that. Of course not EVERYthing GB says is untrue but he ALWAYS has an agenda my friend...you must see that. It seems you do too though on this topic. I am not for one side or the other. I am not Jewish, have no reason to dislike EITHER 'side'. You, on the other hand are biased. You really should try to be objective. Especially when you are passionate about a subject, for that is when you can be swayed by others. Glenn Beck indeed.

PaulH: As previously - So you think the Muslim Brotherhood are 'largely secular' and 'have eschewed violence'? Do you? Really? Just because you think Glenn Beck has an agenda does that mean what he said in this case is incorrect? I ask you - is the Muslim Brotherhood 'largely secular'? Have the Muslim Brotherhood 'eschewed violence'? Please answer those questions before attacking me for using Glenn Beck to backup my argument.

Critics! And critics and who don't answer questions, just complain..

The Muslim Brotherhood exposed, and they are not "largely secular" and nor have they "eschewed violence"

For more of the truth about the Muslim Brotherhood take a trip to Israelly Cool and GBTV. If you want more reassuring lies
about the Muslim Brotehrhood then I suggest the BBC and MSNBC.

A responsibility to protect? Getting things into perspective with Glenn Beck.

Do watch this Glenn Beck video from start to finish and before you doubt the veracity of what Glenn Beck says, here's the New York Times and Chron/Washington Post.

One place that you won't find much news of this story is the BBC whose only stories re Mexico that I can find are these: 'Almost seven in every 10 foreign prisoners in US jails are Mexicans, a US government report has revealed.' and 'Mexican police rescue 51 people, among them Central American and Chinese immigrants, kidnapped in the north-east of the country.'

35,000 dead in Mexico in the last four years, people being bludgeoned to death in Mexico and not a word on the BBC but  wait for the wall to wall coverage when Israel has to stop the next 'peace convoy'. For to the BBC and many others it often seems that the top priority in world polictics is to diminish and then destroy Israel.

Here comes the Palestinian State

I predicted this here and here, now I see that Glenn Beck has a similar opinion at the start of the following video re a unilaterally declared Palestinian state supported by the United Nations...

The rest of the video is also well worth a watch but more on that later...

Not subtle but funny - Glen Beck enjoys the victory

Not classy, not graceful, more than a touch 'gloaty' BUT not a patch on the bile that spewed out of MSNBC and others after Barack Obama's election as President.

Thanks to A Tangled Web for the spot.

Glenn Beck and debunking global warming

"It is the greatest scam in history... Global warming it is a scam." - John Coleman again.

Thursday, 25 February 2010

Where global warming science should be today following Dr Phil Jones' revelations

That's Fox News's Glenn Beck with some actual reporting of Dr Phil Jones's BBC interview, reporting that has been sadly lacking from the BBC itself.

Dr Jones' recent online interview with the BBC's Roger Harrabin (the unscientifically trained environment analyst has not been headline news in the Main Stream Media and the BBC have been happy to put the full interview up and not analyse the incredible admissions within it, in an apparent hope that it will fade away and they can go back to proselytising on behalf of the 'warmists'. Do read the whole interview it's fantastic as you find Dr Jones happy to claim that a 0.12C per decade increase in temperature is "quite close to the significance level" but that a 0.12% decrease in temperature is just "not statistically significant"; hmmm that seems reasonable. Here's the full Q&A on that for you to read:
"B - Do you agree that from 1995 to the present there has been no statistically-significant global warming

Yes, but only just. I also calculated the trend for the period 1995 to 2009. This trend (0.12C per decade) is positive, but not significant at the 95% significance level. The positive trend is quite close to the significance level. Achieving statistical significance in scientific terms is much more likely for longer periods, and much less likely for shorter periods.

C - Do you agree that from January 2002 to the present there has been statistically significant global cooling?

No. This period is even shorter than 1995-2009. The trend this time is negative (-0.12C per decade), but this trend is not statistically significant. "

The other extract that needs to be quoted every time a government minister or 'warmist' claims that the debate on climate change is settled is this one:
"N - When scientists say "the debate on climate change is over", what exactly do they mean - and what don't they mean?

It would be supposition on my behalf to know whether all scientists who say the debate is over are saying that for the same reason. I don't believe the vast majority of climate scientists think this. This is not my view. There is still much that needs to be undertaken to reduce uncertainties, not just for the future, but for the instrumental (and especially the palaeoclimatic) past as well. "

The Obama administration and the "right-wing" media

This battle is getting very interesting; one side has the power, the other has a lot of viewers and listeners.

1. Rush Limbaugh appears to have problems with a Democrat party inspired "media lynch mob". As Toby Harnden asks:
"Which public figure can be quoted as having said something bigoted and disgusting and it doesn’t matter whether he did or not because he might have? Who can Big Media brand a racist without checking the facts? Who has to prove he did not say something racist, rather than the accuser proving he did?"
Somehow I doubt that the BBC will ask any similar questions... This is a must read article as it explodes many myths about "right-wing shock jocks" that the BBC and other left-wing media are keen to spread.

2. Glenn Beck has worries about Marxists in the Obama administration and asks "How many radicals is it going to take...? Do watch the clip, under the bombast there are some points that I, and others, have been making for some time now about the people who surround Barack Obama and what they have in store for the USA.

Glenn Beck, Barbara Walters and Whoopi Goldberg

A fascinating story; what really happened on that Amtrak train and why were Whoopi Goldberg and Barbara Walters so keen to attack Glenn Beck? I think we all know the answer to the latter question...

Never too young to be brainwashed in the land of the Obamamessiah (update)

Further to my post about the "Dear Leader" cult in the US.

Now I see that Glenn Beck has picked up on the same piece of video...

Does this sort of Obama-worship worry you at all?

Glenn Beck's critique of some of Barack Obama's team and policies

This is worth watching and raises many queries that I have discussed before regarding Barack Obama's associates and their pasts.

"Marxists in the White House"?

Glenn Beck is a good speaker and very persuasive; worryingly he is also often right.

An incredible spoken extract from The Beatles' "Revolution", puts me in mind of Peter Sellers' "It's been a hard day's night"...

Here's The Beatles and "Revolution"

"You say you want a revolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
You tell me that it's evolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
But when you talk about destruction
Don't you know that you can count me out
Don't you know it's gonna be all right
all right, all right

You say you got a real solution
Well, you know
We'd all love to see the plan
You ask me for a contribution
Well, you know
We're doing what we can
But when you want money
for people with minds that hate
All I can tell is brother you have to wait
Don't you know it's gonna be all right
all right, all right
Ah

ah, ah, ah, ah, ah...

You say you'll change the constitution
Well, you know
We all want to change your head
You tell me it's the institution
Well, you know
You better free you mind instead
But if you go carrying pictures of chairman Mao
You ain't going to make it with anyone anyhow
Don't you know it's gonna be all right
all right, all right
all right, all right, all right
all right, all right, all right "

Glen Beck's spelling Bee (or rather C)

I like watching Glen Beck; he can be quite thoughtful, if sometimes prone to ranting. However this piece of video may cause his credibility a few problems.
OLIGARHY?

Mind you I did like his "I am tired of being a sheep, I am tired of being a victim, I am tired of being pushed around..."; made me feel at home.
