Kenya bus attack: Al-Shabab 'wants religious war' - reports BBC news

The slaughter of 28 people on a bus in Kenya is a bid to start a religious war, a senior adviser to President Uhuru Kenyatta has told the BBC.

I take issue with the BBC's reporting of this news. Islamist terrorists around the world have been at war with non Muslims for many years now, some might convincingly argue that Islam has been at war with non Muslims since Mohammed left Medina for Mecca. The Muslim armies which left Arabia and conquered the Middle East, large swathes of the East, North Africa and Southern & Central Europe slaughtered non Muslims along the way, it was only the bravery of Christian soldiers that turned that tide. Unfortunately that tide has now turned and until the non Muslim world realises that, it remains doomed.

'Suspected members of the Somali militant group al-Shabab have killed at least 28 people in an attack on a bus in northern Kenya, officials say.

The bus was travelling to the capital, Nairobi, when it was stopped in Mandera county, near the Somali border.

After taking it off the road, gunmen separated out those they thought were non-Muslim before killing them, officials said.

Somalia-based al-Shabab has been mounting attacks in Kenya since 2011.That was the year when Kenya sent troops to Somalia to help fight the Islamist militia. Mandera, a remote area in Kenya's north east, has been one of the regions affected.

Kenya's interior ministry said on its Twitter feed that the bus attacked early on Saturday had been carrying 60 passengers.

One official told Kenya's Daily Nation newspaper that assailants had asked passengers to read out verses of the Koran, before executing those who failed.'

Can you see the less than subtle attempt to hide who these terrorists are? No mention of the facts that they are is Islamist terrorists killing non Muslims only in the lead in paragraph, because that's all that most people read if they read the article at all. And because that's what forms the headline line on the main news pages. For the BBC who are desperately trying to pretend that Islamic terrorists are not involved in a war against non Muslims that is very very important. Facts be dammed, there's a propaganda war to win.'

Why did the al-Shabaab Islamist terrorists separate Muslims from non-Muslims before killing the non-Muslims?

David Wood of Answering Muslims has his theory as to why whilst Western leaders and the media assure us that the recent terrorist attack at a Westgate Mall in Nairobi, Kenya has nothing to do with Islam, and that the terrorist group al-Shabaab is violating the commands of Allah and Muhammad, opening the Koran shows us otherwise. He also believes it's clear that Islamic history has been repeating itself for fourteen centuries.

The Islamist plan to mount a major terrorist operation in London

From the Long War Journal:

'A document found after Somali troops killed Fazul Abdullah Mohammed, al Qaeda's former leader in East Africa and a senior Shabaab commander, details a plot to conduct multiple Mumbai-like attacks that target civilians in London. The plot highlights how al Qaeda and Shabaab seek to strike civilian targets outside Somalia, and foreshadowed Shabaab's attack on the Eastgate Mall in Kenya this week.

The document and several others found in Fazul's possession after he was killed by Somali troops at a checkpoint in Mogadishu in June 2011 were obtained by the Toronto Star. A copy of the document was also obtained by The Long War Journal. The Canadian newspaper reported that "dozens of documents, Internet frame grabs and media reports in English, Arabic, Somali and Swahili, along with more than 50 video clips" were also found in Fazul's car.

Fazul's document detailing a plot in London is titled "International Operations." In the opening paragraph, he notes how Shabaab's external terror teams are to emulate "the tactics used by our brothers in Mumbai." In the Mumbai attack, small teams of Lashkar-e-Taiba fighters armed with assault rifles, grenades, and bombs fanned out across the city and attacked civilians. More than 170 people were killed during the Mumbai siege, which lasted for three days. Shabaab targeted train stations, a theater, two posh hotels, and a Jewish center during the attack.

"Our objectives are to strike London with low cost operations that would cause a heavy blow amongst the hierarchy and Jewish communities using attacks similar to the tactics used by our brothers in Mumbai," the first paragraph of Fazul's memo said. "These will either be many individual random untraceable operations or the group will be trained to cause maximum damage to a single target."'

So what do Islamist terrorists have in store for London?

'Fazul said that the "first target" in London would be "Jewish communities with tens of thousands of Jews crammed in a small area" in the Golders Green and Stamford Hill neighborhoods of the city.
"Our plan is to hit the elite of the Jewish community by targeting the most expensive restaurants on the Jewish festival of HANNUKAH and then moving around the Golders Green shooting random Jews while throwing petrol bombs into crowded places and groups," the document said. "This will be in retaliation for the crimes committed in Gaza a gift to the Palestinian people and a show of solidarity to our brothers and sisters in Palestine."

The "second target" was the Eton School, "where the most powerful elite from royalty to business tycoons send their sons to study." The attack was to be carried out on "induction day or an open day ... as we can kill the parents and their children aged 16+."

"This will strike a heavy blow at the 'who's who'' of the political and business world," the document said.

Shabaab's "third target" was "the Ritz Hotel or Dorchester," two upscale hotels in London.

"
We plan to hit this Hotel on New Year's, Valentine's Day or even Hanukkah," it said. "The plan is to hit the hotel when it's fully booked to ensure maximum casualties."

Shabaab planned to kill "top diplomats, ambassadors, celebrities, millionaires and many key players from all around the world" who are known to frequent the hotels.

In one plan, the Shabaab fighters were to book a room, set one of the bottom three floors aflame with "petrol bombs," and then block the exits and elevators. Then, "the martyrdom seeker would then make his way to the exits and start killing any one fleeing the area."

Another option was for Shabaab fighters to sweep the hotel with gunmen, who would also throw petrol bombs as the advance. A third option was to set off a fire alarm and then attack the guests as they gathered outside.

"These methods are all designed to cause maximum damage," the document noted.'

But could Islamist terrorists carry out such an attack in London? Do they have the manpower and the weapons? Well obviously there is the man power but weapons?

'Fazul detailed the training, equipment, and logistical support in both Somalia and England needed to carry out the London attacks.
"Each martyrdom seeker will be trained in Somalia preferably for 2 months and he will only know his mission. The men we plan to send back will not know any other mujahideen involved only his own mission or they would be trained as a group depending on the type of operation they will carry," the document stated.

Additionally, the "brothers will be pushed through many battles to see how they react under pressure and they will be analyzed to see if they can keep their composure."

Fazul notes that the group is in "a race against time as the brothers [who would conduct the attacks in London] must be sent back before their visas expire." This is an indication that Shabaab would use Brits to conduct the attacks in London. Shabaab would have an ample pool of Brits to recruit from. In August 2013, the head of MI5 estimated that "as many as 100 Britons of Pakistani, Bangladeshi and West African backgrounds are said to have travelled to Somalia," to train and fight with Shabaab, The Telegraph reported.

Once in Somalia, the recruits are to be kept in a "safe house" and "will have absolute minimal contact with brothers in Somalia." Training includes reading the Koran, weapons instruction, hand-to-hand combat, counter-surveillance, reconnaissance, and signals security. Fazul even names "Khattab Masri" (likely an Egyptian) as a candidate to train recruits on hand-to-hand combat.'

So how long has London got before Islamist terrorists go on a killing spree? Could it be as soon as Channukah this year? That starts on the evening of Wednesday 27th November, in case you are interested. I wonder if trade in Golders Green is affected this year by these rumoured threats?

Kenya mall attack torture claims emerge from soldiers: 'Eyes gouged out, bodies on hooks, fingers removed' | Mail Online

'Soldiers told of the horrific torture meted out by terrorists in the Nairobi mall massacre yesterday with claims hostages were dismembered, had their eyes gouged out and were left hanging from hooks in the ceiling.

Men were said to have been castrated and had fingers removed with pliers before being blinded and hanged.

Children were found dead in the food court fridges with knives still embedded in their bodies, it was claimed.'

Words all but fail me as to the way these Islamist terrorists acted. What's scarier is that there are people who'll excuse their actions because of perceived inequalities or Kenyan involvement in Somalia. There's no excuse, none.

What's even worse is that I can guarantee you that in this country, in the UK, there are young
Muslims wondering if/how they could replicate such an act and where, my money would be on Brent Cross, after all lots of the hated Jews shop there.

The Nairobi terrorist attack

CNN breaking news last night:

'Al-Shabaab tweets that all Muslims were escorted out of Nairobi mall before violence, says it won't negotiate.'

Racist terrorist murderers? No, the BBC prefer to describe them thus 'The Somali militant group al-Shabab has said it carried out the attack.'

The BBC just disgust me more each day.


Latest figures for this latest Islamist terrorist atrocity is that Thirty-nine people are dead and 293 have been treated at area hospitals.

'a possible terrorist attack'

The BBC report on the latest Islamist terrorist attrocity, this time in Nairobi's Westgate shopping centre, includes these lines:

'A senior police officer originally said it was an attempted robbery but later called it a possible terrorist attack.

The Somali militant group al-Shabab had threatened to strike the centre.'

'...the Kenyan Secretary for the Interior Joseph ole Lenku said the security situation was "under control".

He urged the public "not to speculate" about the nature of the attack, and said most people had been evacuated.' 

and further down the report this:

'Some of the attackers were reportedly dressed in hijabs, and it is unclear whether they were men or women, our correspondent says.
...

Witnesses told news agencies the gunmen ordered Muslims to leave and that non-Muslims would be targeted.'

Let's see how a news organisation that isn't in love with Islamist terrorism reports the same story, ABC News for example:

'Gunmen threw grenades and opened fire Saturday killing at least 10 people in an attack targeting non-Muslims at an upscale mall in Kenya's capital that was hosting a children's day event, witnesses said.'

Oddly the BBC don't mention the children's day event, presumably because they want to minimise censure of the terrorists, sorry militants.

'Elijah Kamau, who was at the mall at the time of the midday attack, said that the gunmen made a declaration that non-Muslims would be targeted.
"The gunmen told Muslims to stand up and leave. They were safe, and non-Muslims would be targeted," he said.'

So they only killed non-Muslims, so their motive would be? Almost impossible to work out isn't it? Well it is if you support Islamist terrorism, otherwise it's f***ing obvious.


Mind you the equally soft on Islamist terrorism CNN are reporting in their CNN Breaking News email that:

'The gunmen shot indiscriminately and took some people hostage at the mall, a senior Kenyan government source said.'

'indiscriminately'- It seems that they were very discriminating, only kuffr were killed.

It's spot the missing word time

The BBC report that:

'At least 10 people have been killed in attacks on churches in the Kenyan town of Garissa near Somalia, police say. "So far we have at least 10 killed, and more than 40 wounded," regional deputy police chief Philip Ndolo told Reuters.'

Read the whole article and see if you can spot who the culprits might be? There is a clue in the article:

'Kenya's border region has been tense since it sent troops into Somalia to pursue al-Shabab Islamic militants. Kenya said the operations, launched last October, were designed to bring an end to kidnappings on Kenyan soil and other violence which it blamed on al-Shabab.'

So might the culprits be Islamist terrorists operating under the al-Shabab banner? That's a question that the BBC will do their utmost to not ask.

Obama’s ‘illegal’ Kenyan Auntie wins the right to stay in America

The Times reports that (my emphasis):

'President Obama’s “Auntie Zeituni”, who was discovered by The Times living illegally in Boston, was granted asylum in America yesterday in a controversial decision that will fuel the already charged debate on illegal immigrants.

A judge ruled that Zeituni Onyango, 57, the Kenyan half-sister of President Obama’s late father, would be allowed to stay in the country despite ignoring a 2004 deportation order.

Ms Onyango received the notification by mail three months after she turned up in a wheelchair to testify before an immigration judge at a closed-door hearing in Boston. The rationale for the judge’s decision was not made public.'

Another claim that Barack Obama was born in Kenya, but this one's different

The Kenyan Sunday Standard back in 1994 reports that:

"Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations."

Cold someone point out to me where Barack Obama denied this claim (stated as fact) at the time...

The words of the Kenyan government, explaining why "The Kenyan government has barred unapproved contacts between the media and President-elect Barack Obama's
extended family.

Family members will be required to receive permission from the government before making any public statements about their famous relative, according to the Nairobi Star.

"We are doing this because we want to ensure better flow of information," Athman Said, an under-secretary in the Ministry of Heritage, told the Obama family in Kogelo.

"The government has decided that you should inform its officers who will be based here if you want to address the media."

Journalists wishing to speak with the family must first be approved by the government. "

A very surprising story

Al Jazeera English language News report that:

"Bahrain has appointed a Jewish woman as an ambassador, believed to be the Arab world's first Jewish envoy.

The selection of Houda Nonoo was made by decree on Wednesday and reported by local media in the Gulf Arab kingdom on Friday.

The decree, published by the official Bahraini News Agency, did not state which nation Nonoo would be appointed to but media reports have said that the US is her likely destination.

Nonoo, 43, said she would undertake the role "first of all as a Bahraini" and that she was not chosen because of her religion.

Bahraini media had speculated over Nonoo's selection for the past few months.

Nonoo, a businesswoman and mother of two children, has served as a legislator in Bahrain's all-appointed 40-member Shura Council for three years.

Nonoo lives in both Bahrain and London and is the first Jewish woman to head a local rights organisation, the Bahrain Human Rights Watch.

She is Bahrain's third woman ambassador – the first being appointed to France in 2000 and the second to China.

Bahrain is a predominately Shia Muslim state but has Sunni rulers who are allied to the US.

About 40 Jews live in Bahrain, where there is one synagogue.

The authorities in Bahrain are currently planning to grant full citizenship rights to Jewish returnees, according to local reports."

Fascinating and surprising, but before anyone thinks that maybe this could be the start of something good in Bahrain with regard to recognising the state of Israel do remember that it was only last year that Bahrain stripped Mushir Salem Jawher (the former Kenyan runner) for competing in Israel (he won the Tiberias Marathon). At the time Bahrain's Athletic Union said in a statement that it had received the news that a Bahraini national competed in Israel with "shock and regret." "The union deeply regrets what the athlete has done," the statement said. A committee of sport and government authorities decided to strike Jawher's name off the sport union records and strip him of his Bahraini nationality, the statement said. It said Jawher had entered Israel with his Kenyan passport and added that the runner's Bahraini citizenship was revoked because he had "violated the laws of Bahrain."

Iain Dale has reproduced a very moving email sent yesterday by someone living in Kenya, you should read it as it tells the story better than any TV or radio news report. Please read the whole email here.

Here are two extracts that have left me feeling profoundly depressed as one of the few "success story countries" in Africa looks like failing and failing violently:

"My maid lives in Kageme and 2 days ago one of her neighbours fell seriously ill - they persuaded the other neighbour to use his car to rush her to hospital - the local clinic is overwhelmed with folks dying of gun shot wounds and can't cope with someone complaining about a sore stomach (the lady actually had acute septicemia from an infected uterus). The neighbour asked his nephews to clear a couple of large rocks off the road from the previous night's road blocks - as they were doing this, and with not so much as a warning, they were shot by the para-military police (presumable because they we perceived to be placing rocks on the road). One died and the other will no doubt lose his leg - pretty heavy punishment for their suspected crime - blocking a road. Typical heavy handed treatment from the powers that be."


"You should see the stuff considered too offensive for public broadcast - the Kikuyu lady gang raped by 60 youth who bleed to death where they left her - 35 kids cooked in a church - they look strangely like roasted piglets covered in crackling. 11 severed heads impaled on stick as revenge killings by Mungiki (the new version of the old Mau Mau secret Kikuyu sect - they drink blood and semen from a raped and killed female victim as part of their initiation) - How come African women get such a bad deal? A bit of gender equality - Luo men who have been dragged off buses and had their foreskins cut off with a Panga. Ain't AFRICA just the greatest place in the world to be - even a country as sophisticated as Kenya has all this seething hatred just a few inches below the surface."

Not Kenya as well

Kenya looked as though it might continue to escape the worst ravages of the African troubles. However the recent elections and the fallout from them leave me less hopeful - "Thirty Kenyans including many children have been burned to death in a church, after seeking refuge from the mounting violence over last week's elections.
A mob attacked and set fire to the church in the western town of Eldoret where hundreds of people were hiding, say police and eyewitness reports."

Despite Gordon Brown and the EU's rhetoric don't expect any action from those quarters, instead I expect the Chinese march into Africa to now include Kenya. What march into Africa? I don't remember anything about this on the BBC? Well you wouldn't as the Chinese "assistance" is not the same as American imperialism.

News from Kenya

Kenya is holding presidential elections on 27 December and Raila Odinga, is the presidential candidate from the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM). Kenya has a popultaion that according to the CIA World Fact Book is split between religions this "Protestant 45%, Roman Catholic 33%, Muslim 10%, indigenous beliefs 10%, other 2%". However I read that "Raila Odinga, the current frontrunner in the upcoming presidential election in Kenya has promised that he will implement strict Islamic Sharia law if he receives the Muslim vote in the country and is elected president.
A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed on 29 August 2007 by Sheikh Abdullahi Abdi, chairman of the National Leaders Forum (Namlef), and Raila Odinga, presidential candidate from the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).

Despite being signed in late August, the MOU was not made public until 27 November 2007.

However, according to International Christian Concern (ICC) there are in fact two versions of the MOU. Persecution watchdog International Christian Concern claims that a private MOU was signed between Sheikh Abdi and Odinga which is very different from the one presented to the public.

ICC says that in the secret version of the MOU, Odinga, if elected, would “within six months, rewrite the Constitution of Kenya to recognise Sharia as the only true law sanctioned by the Holy Quran for Muslim declared regions”...

In response to the revelations the Evangelical Alliance of Kenya released a statement in which church leaders said, “In both MOUs, honourable Raila comes across as a presumptive Muslim president bent on forcing Islamic law, religion and culture down the throats of the Kenyan people in total disregard of the Constitutionally guaranteed rights of freedom of worship and equal protection of the law for all Kenyans.”

The chairman of the Evangelical Alliance of Kenya, Rev Dr Wellington Mutiso told ICC, “Kenya should continue to be a secular state. Christians want a level playing ground where [Christians and Muslims] are treated equally.

“We [Kenyan Christians] are opposed to any move at favouring a particular religious group by political parties.”

In addition, the ICC regional manager for Africa, Darara Gubo said, “This agreement made with Muslim leaders undermines the secular nature of Kenya and opens a Pandora’s box of chaos and conflict similar to what happened in Nigeria and Sudan.

“This is not a stand-alone incident; rather, it is part of strategy to Islamize Eastern Africa and the Horn of Africa, through the introduction of Sharia law.”"


I just thought this was something that you might want to be made aware of before it becomes an issue.
