Lisa Simpson follows Donald Trump as US President

The Simpson episode 'Bart to the Future' is often cited as a predictor of a Donald Trump Presidency or a warning against such an event. However it's another line that caught my ear, what did the writers mean by the line that Lisa Simpson was the 'first straight female President'?

That 2012 London Olympics logo again

The Iranians are apparently upset with the 2012 London Olympics logo saying that it spells the word ZION. Apparently Mohammad Aliabadi, head of the Iranian National Olympic Committee, said that the logo was undermining the event and accused the British organizers of indulging in "racism". He also stated in a letter to International Olympic Committee (IOC) president Jacques Rogge that:

"Unfortunately, we all are witnessing that the upcoming Olympics … faces a serious challenge, definitely spawned out of some people’s racist spirit.. The use of the word Zion by the designer of Olympics logo ….in the emblem of the Olympics Games 2012 is a very revolting act"

It seems that he also warned the IOC that if they did not act then the logo would "affect the participation of several countries, especially like Iran which insists on following principles and values."

This is an utterly ridiculous claim to make as we all know (as I blogged in 2007 that the logo for the 2012 Olympics actually looks like Lisa Simpson giving someone oral pleasures.

So what do you think: ZION or Lisa Simpson giving a blowjob? Either way it's a crap design, isn't it?

Is it just me or does the logo for the 2012 Olympics unveiled today look like Lisa Simpson giving someone oral pleasures.
