'According to a column in the Feb. 24 edition of the Falls Church News-Press by Nicholas F. Benton, the editor-in-chief of the publication, the paper’s newest columnist Helen Thomas had a surprise waiting for her after an extraordinary interview she gave to HLN’s Joy Behar last week. That was flowers from Rosie O’Donnell, who had been on the record for defending Thomas in the past.

However, as Benton noted, at the time of the Thomas’s infamous remarks, there were very few willing to defend her other than O’Donnell and the 39th President of the United States, Jimmy Carter'

Helen Thomas, ace reporter, recently said that Israeli Jews should "get the hell out of Palestine". Here is news from the BBC that:

'Scientists have shed light on Jewish history with an in-depth genetic study.

The researchers analysed genetic samples from 14 Jewish communities across the world and compared them with those from 69 non-Jewish populations.

Their study, published in Nature, revealed that most Jewish populations were "genetically closer" to each other than to their non-Jewish neighbours.

It also revealed genetic ties between globally dispersed Jews and non-Jewish populations in the Middle East.

This fits with the idea that most contemporary Jews descended from ancient Hebrew and Israelite residents in the Middle Eastern region known as the Levant. It provides a trace of the Jewish diaspora.

Doron Behar from Rambam Health Care Campus in Haifa, Israel, led an international team of scientists in the study. He described it as a form of "genetic archaeology".

"It seems that most Jewish populations and therefore most Jewish individuals are closer to each other [at the genetic level], and closer to the Middle Eastern populations, than to their traditional host population in the diaspora," he explained. '

I wonder if Helen Thomas will be interested...

Of course the way the BBC carefully construct this sentence is of interest:

'This fits with the idea that most contemporary Jews descended from ancient Hebrew and Israelite residents in the Middle Eastern region known as the Levant.'

'The Levant'? Why do the BBC not explain that 'the Levant' is an arc of land centred on modern day Israel? Do the BBC assume that everyone knows that? Because I doubt that more than a couple of percent of the UK population know what the Levant was. Or was the BBC being very careful not to give any historical context to the legitimacy of Israel.

Helen Thomas - 'ugliness is not just skin deep'

However, those who thought that Helen Thomas was just another ugly face were shocked to learn that besides all those hideous wrinkles, pox marks, scars and other flaws that one would normally find on the remains of a successful suicide bomber, there is a truly ugly spirit.

Mind you, thinking people have known for years that this so-called journalist is a mean-spirited, hateful and biased leftist, completely unsullied by even the slightest trace of objectivity or integrity in her writings and verbal harangues.

Add “Anti-Semitic hag” to the mix of phrases used to describe this really pathetic fool. In her latest gig, Thomas wants the Jews of Israel to get the hell out of Palestine and go back to Germany and Poland:

I wasn't going to bother reporting the vile recent comments of senior US journalist and darling of the 'liberals' Helen Thomas but then I read this salute on the BBC and felt that some balance was required. The BBC report skates over Helen Thomas's remarks thus:

'But after five decades of covering the White House, Helen Thomas, 89, retired under a cloud on Monday - caught on camera saying Israeli Jews should "get the hell out of Palestine".

The controversy - for which she has apologised - is a bitter end to a storied career. '

Ask yourself this; if an aged right-wing politician or journalist said that 'blacks' or 'Muslims' should go home, how would the BBC report the story? Somewhat differently? If that is the case then the BBC is not only biased but anti-Semitic.
