At UN, Pakistan Praises Saudi Arabia for Protecting “Women’s Rights” | FrontPage Magazine

'As the UN Human Rights Council scrutinized Saudi Arabia's domestic rights record this morning… out of 95 countries who took the floor, 82 praised Saudi Arabia.

Hillel Neuer, executive director of the Geneva-based human rights group UN Watch, said the country is poised to win a seat on the Human Rights Council.

"A country whose legal system routinely lashes women rape victims rather than punish the perpetrators should not have been praised effusively by members of the UN's top human rights body," said Neuer. "Instead the world should have addressed the Saudi regime's use of cruel, inhuman and degrading punishments, such as flogging, amputations and eye-gouging."'

Mauritania, VP of the UNHRC (and a country that practices slavery): “We commend Saudi Arabia for always seeking to strengthen human rights…We commend Saudi Arabia in terms of the progress on guaranteeing fundamental rights and freedoms, socioeconomic progress, participation of women at all levels and participation in society.

China: “We appreciate efforts made to protect the rights of children and to have dialogues of religious tolerance…”

Pakistan: Commended “laudable steps taken by Saudi Arabia to promote and protect the rights of children and women…”

So according to China, Saudi Arabia which arrests Christians for praying, practises religious tolerance.

So according to Afghanistan, Libya, Somalia, and the slavers of Mauritania, the Saudis excel at human rights.

So according to Pakistan, a country where raping women is endemic, Saudi Arabia, which won’t let women drive or leave the house, is also breaking new ground in protecting women’s rights.

Satire is dead, what other conclusion is there.

The Islamist plan to mount a major terrorist operation in London

From the Long War Journal:

'A document found after Somali troops killed Fazul Abdullah Mohammed, al Qaeda's former leader in East Africa and a senior Shabaab commander, details a plot to conduct multiple Mumbai-like attacks that target civilians in London. The plot highlights how al Qaeda and Shabaab seek to strike civilian targets outside Somalia, and foreshadowed Shabaab's attack on the Eastgate Mall in Kenya this week.

The document and several others found in Fazul's possession after he was killed by Somali troops at a checkpoint in Mogadishu in June 2011 were obtained by the Toronto Star. A copy of the document was also obtained by The Long War Journal. The Canadian newspaper reported that "dozens of documents, Internet frame grabs and media reports in English, Arabic, Somali and Swahili, along with more than 50 video clips" were also found in Fazul's car.

Fazul's document detailing a plot in London is titled "International Operations." In the opening paragraph, he notes how Shabaab's external terror teams are to emulate "the tactics used by our brothers in Mumbai." In the Mumbai attack, small teams of Lashkar-e-Taiba fighters armed with assault rifles, grenades, and bombs fanned out across the city and attacked civilians. More than 170 people were killed during the Mumbai siege, which lasted for three days. Shabaab targeted train stations, a theater, two posh hotels, and a Jewish center during the attack.

"Our objectives are to strike London with low cost operations that would cause a heavy blow amongst the hierarchy and Jewish communities using attacks similar to the tactics used by our brothers in Mumbai," the first paragraph of Fazul's memo said. "These will either be many individual random untraceable operations or the group will be trained to cause maximum damage to a single target."'

So what do Islamist terrorists have in store for London?

'Fazul said that the "first target" in London would be "Jewish communities with tens of thousands of Jews crammed in a small area" in the Golders Green and Stamford Hill neighborhoods of the city.
"Our plan is to hit the elite of the Jewish community by targeting the most expensive restaurants on the Jewish festival of HANNUKAH and then moving around the Golders Green shooting random Jews while throwing petrol bombs into crowded places and groups," the document said. "This will be in retaliation for the crimes committed in Gaza a gift to the Palestinian people and a show of solidarity to our brothers and sisters in Palestine."

The "second target" was the Eton School, "where the most powerful elite from royalty to business tycoons send their sons to study." The attack was to be carried out on "induction day or an open day ... as we can kill the parents and their children aged 16+."

"This will strike a heavy blow at the 'who's who'' of the political and business world," the document said.

Shabaab's "third target" was "the Ritz Hotel or Dorchester," two upscale hotels in London.

"
We plan to hit this Hotel on New Year's, Valentine's Day or even Hanukkah," it said. "The plan is to hit the hotel when it's fully booked to ensure maximum casualties."

Shabaab planned to kill "top diplomats, ambassadors, celebrities, millionaires and many key players from all around the world" who are known to frequent the hotels.

In one plan, the Shabaab fighters were to book a room, set one of the bottom three floors aflame with "petrol bombs," and then block the exits and elevators. Then, "the martyrdom seeker would then make his way to the exits and start killing any one fleeing the area."

Another option was for Shabaab fighters to sweep the hotel with gunmen, who would also throw petrol bombs as the advance. A third option was to set off a fire alarm and then attack the guests as they gathered outside.

"These methods are all designed to cause maximum damage," the document noted.'

But could Islamist terrorists carry out such an attack in London? Do they have the manpower and the weapons? Well obviously there is the man power but weapons?

'Fazul detailed the training, equipment, and logistical support in both Somalia and England needed to carry out the London attacks.
"Each martyrdom seeker will be trained in Somalia preferably for 2 months and he will only know his mission. The men we plan to send back will not know any other mujahideen involved only his own mission or they would be trained as a group depending on the type of operation they will carry," the document stated.

Additionally, the "brothers will be pushed through many battles to see how they react under pressure and they will be analyzed to see if they can keep their composure."

Fazul notes that the group is in "a race against time as the brothers [who would conduct the attacks in London] must be sent back before their visas expire." This is an indication that Shabaab would use Brits to conduct the attacks in London. Shabaab would have an ample pool of Brits to recruit from. In August 2013, the head of MI5 estimated that "as many as 100 Britons of Pakistani, Bangladeshi and West African backgrounds are said to have travelled to Somalia," to train and fight with Shabaab, The Telegraph reported.

Once in Somalia, the recruits are to be kept in a "safe house" and "will have absolute minimal contact with brothers in Somalia." Training includes reading the Koran, weapons instruction, hand-to-hand combat, counter-surveillance, reconnaissance, and signals security. Fazul even names "Khattab Masri" (likely an Egyptian) as a candidate to train recruits on hand-to-hand combat.'

So how long has London got before Islamist terrorists go on a killing spree? Could it be as soon as Channukah this year? That starts on the evening of Wednesday 27th November, in case you are interested. I wonder if trade in Golders Green is affected this year by these rumoured threats?

Kenya mall attack torture claims emerge from soldiers: 'Eyes gouged out, bodies on hooks, fingers removed' | Mail Online

'Soldiers told of the horrific torture meted out by terrorists in the Nairobi mall massacre yesterday with claims hostages were dismembered, had their eyes gouged out and were left hanging from hooks in the ceiling.

Men were said to have been castrated and had fingers removed with pliers before being blinded and hanged.

Children were found dead in the food court fridges with knives still embedded in their bodies, it was claimed.'

Words all but fail me as to the way these Islamist terrorists acted. What's scarier is that there are people who'll excuse their actions because of perceived inequalities or Kenyan involvement in Somalia. There's no excuse, none.

What's even worse is that I can guarantee you that in this country, in the UK, there are young
Muslims wondering if/how they could replicate such an act and where, my money would be on Brent Cross, after all lots of the hated Jews shop there.

The Nairobi terrorist attack

CNN breaking news last night:

'Al-Shabaab tweets that all Muslims were escorted out of Nairobi mall before violence, says it won't negotiate.'

Racist terrorist murderers? No, the BBC prefer to describe them thus 'The Somali militant group al-Shabab has said it carried out the attack.'

The BBC just disgust me more each day.


Latest figures for this latest Islamist terrorist atrocity is that Thirty-nine people are dead and 293 have been treated at area hospitals.

'a possible terrorist attack'

The BBC report on the latest Islamist terrorist attrocity, this time in Nairobi's Westgate shopping centre, includes these lines:

'A senior police officer originally said it was an attempted robbery but later called it a possible terrorist attack.

The Somali militant group al-Shabab had threatened to strike the centre.'

'...the Kenyan Secretary for the Interior Joseph ole Lenku said the security situation was "under control".

He urged the public "not to speculate" about the nature of the attack, and said most people had been evacuated.' 

and further down the report this:

'Some of the attackers were reportedly dressed in hijabs, and it is unclear whether they were men or women, our correspondent says.
...

Witnesses told news agencies the gunmen ordered Muslims to leave and that non-Muslims would be targeted.'

Let's see how a news organisation that isn't in love with Islamist terrorism reports the same story, ABC News for example:

'Gunmen threw grenades and opened fire Saturday killing at least 10 people in an attack targeting non-Muslims at an upscale mall in Kenya's capital that was hosting a children's day event, witnesses said.'

Oddly the BBC don't mention the children's day event, presumably because they want to minimise censure of the terrorists, sorry militants.

'Elijah Kamau, who was at the mall at the time of the midday attack, said that the gunmen made a declaration that non-Muslims would be targeted.
"The gunmen told Muslims to stand up and leave. They were safe, and non-Muslims would be targeted," he said.'

So they only killed non-Muslims, so their motive would be? Almost impossible to work out isn't it? Well it is if you support Islamist terrorism, otherwise it's f***ing obvious.


Mind you the equally soft on Islamist terrorism CNN are reporting in their CNN Breaking News email that:

'The gunmen shot indiscriminately and took some people hostage at the mall, a senior Kenyan government source said.'

'indiscriminately'- It seems that they were very discriminating, only kuffr were killed.

Danish or Somalian?

The BBC are still reporting this:

'A Danish man has been cautioned after bomb disposal experts carried out controlled explosions on a suitcase found inside a mosque in Liverpool.'

 Meanwhile the Liverpool Echo is now reporting this:

'A man arrested after a suitcase was left at Liverpool’s main mosque is actually Somalian and not Danish, as police previously stated.

Merseyside Police have just confirmed that the 22-year-old man, who was cautioned and released following the incident, is in fact from Somalia not Denmark.'

Why the disparity? Are the BBC up to their usual tricks regarding Islamophobia and protecting  Islamic immigrants?

Why Somalians?

One of the noticeable features of immigration under the last labour government was the appearance of Somali men, women and children all over London. It always struck me as odd as Somalia had no real connection with the UK, it was never part of the British Empire for example. Historically Kenyans (especially Kenyan Asians), Ghanaians and others from former countries of the Empire had immigrated into the UK from Africa but now Somalians were coming. This fact might just be an interesting footnote were it not only for for the fact that Somalia is a war zone and has been for many years but also because Somalis living in Britain are being discovered fighting in Somalia. Over the last few days I have read of two British residents, the British government is said to be unsure if they are citizens (a story in itself there), who have been killed in Somalia whilst fighting for Al-Quaeda. One, Bilal al-Berjawi was killed on the outskirts of Mogadishu on Saturday when his car was hit by three missiles. Mr Berjawi was said to be responsible for recruitment, training and tactics for the Islamist group al-Shabab, which is fighting the weak UN-backed government. Al-Shabab claimed that Mr Berjawi, who had Lebanese origins, grew up in Britain and had fought in Afghanistan before going to Somalia.

Is this the new role of Britain, to provide a safe haven for Islamist fighters to recuperate in between foreign wars on behalf of Islam against Western troops, maybe even British ones? What will the UK government do if/when they decide to bring the battle to the streets of the UK?

How much proof do you need?

'He also said he was unconvinced that they had enough evidence to convict the pirates – even though they were heavily armed, were carrying hostages and had confessed.'

From Today's Mail article that starts:

'When a Royal Navy warship captured a crew of Somali pirates, it seemed like a rare chance to strike back at the ruthless sea gangsters.

The 17 outlaws were armed with an arsenal of AK 47s and rocket-propelled grenades, and had forced hostages on a hijacked fishing vessel to work as slaves for three months.

But instead of bringing them to justice, the British servicemen were ordered to provide the pirates halal meals, medical checks, cigarettes – and in one case even a nicotine patch – before releasing them in their own boats.'

OK there is a little more to the story than that opening section of The Mail piece would lead you to believe but still that passage jumped out at me.

1. Inspector Gadget thinks that the courts may have been a little too lenient:

'CID put a burglar with 80 previous convictions before the court, charged with several shed-breaks. He pleaded guilty.

This offender has 14 offences against police, prisons and courts. This means, in his case, that he as breached the last Community Order he was sentenced to and has been recalled to prison after breaking his licence conditions on three separate occasions. In effect, the last three times he was let out of prison early on licence, he failed to stick to the licence conditions and was returned to prison. On two occasions, this happened within 24 hours of release.

From what we know after speaking to him in interview, and looking at forensic ‘hits’ at crime scenes where we know the dates, he is regularly committing crime during these community order and early release periods.

This man is not a drug addict, not is he especially poor. He is simply a career criminal who enjoys what he does and sees nothing wrong in taking other people’s things. He also likes the reputation he has on his estate for being a bad lad.

Back to the case. He pleaded guilty to the breaks we could prove and took another handful of ‘TIC’s’ to clear his slate. Remember, he has 80 previous convictions and a history of breaching court orders and licence conditions.

He was sentenced to another Community Order.'

2. The BBC slip out a short report that 'Interpol has issued international alerts for 47 Saudi men, some accused by Saudi Arabia of links with al-Qaeda.'


3. Meanwhile the BBC also report that:

'Egypt has recalled its ambassador to the Vatican for consultation after Pope Benedict XVI urged the country to do more to protect its Christian minority.

In an address to ambassadors at the Vatican on Monday, the Pope cited recent attacks on Christians in Egypt and Iraq.

An Egyptian foreign ministry spokesman said the remarks were "unacceptable".'

Unacceptable to require a country to look after a minority community?

5. The Mail reports the case of a Somali who claimed to have been gang-raped and witnessed family's murder in Somalia but was exposed as £250k benefit fraudster. This fraudster became a British citizen by fraudulent means but will try and use that citizenship to prevent being deported back to Somalia; how stupid are we in this country?

The BBC, the Chandlers and UK based Somalis

The BBC just kept on telling us how the Somali community in the UK was working for the release of the Chandlers and upset by it. here's a few examples of this 'narrative', designed to make us feel warmer towards a section of immigrants that people seem not to like as much as others.

1) BBC World Service:

'Chandlers' release: How Somali exile negotiated with pirates

Rachel and Paul Chandler, a British couple who were held by Somali pirates for more than a year, were freed two weeks ago.

Dahir Kadiye is a Somali exile and former taxi driver living in London who helped to negotiate their release.

He spoke to the BBC's Fergus Nicoll about how he helped persuade the Chandlers' captors to let them go and how they reacted when they found out they were free.'

2) BBC News:

'The couple from Tunbridge Wells in Kent are on their way home and will no doubt be celebrating, as will be their family and friends.

So, too, is the large Somali expatriate community, especially those in the UK.

But who is to thank for the release of Paul and Rachel Chandler after 338 days in captivity?

Many people played a part but none so more than the UK's Somali community, keen to avoid more negative headlines.

People who were involved in securing the couple's freedom have told the BBC that the ransom demand was met by a few Somali Good Samaritans along with the Somali government.

When their kidnap was first confirmed on 23 October 2009, Somalis living around the UK were worried - for the Chandlers but also about what the rest of the British population would think of them if anything happened to the elderly couple - Paul is 60, while Rachel is 56.

"If the poor old couple were killed, can you imagine how bad it would be?" asked Ridwaan Haji Abdiwali, a presenter for the London-based satellite Somali channel, Universal TV.

He was one of those who organised the Somali diaspora to show its support for the Chandlers.

The Somali community is no stranger to bad press.

Mention the name Somalia and for many a fearful and suspicious vision of warlords, pirates, terrorists, gangs and police-killers is conjured up.

And the diaspora knows it only too well.

The total Somali population in the UK was estimated at 101,000 in 2008, although many believe the true figure is closer to 250,000.

The majority were welcomed to Britain as refugees in the 1990s.

Although most still dream of returning home, until peace comes to their war-ravaged and lawless homeland they remain stuck in places such as Wembley, Bristol and Birmingham.

For now though, the UK is home, and because of that, the community felt a calling to help out.

"It began as a sort of a feeling that we have among the community in Britain because we are British but because we come from Somalia," Mr Abdiwali told the BBC.

And also because "it is in our culture of the Somalis to look after the elderly people."

Beneath their negative image is a humble and closely-intertwined - some may say insular - community where trust is king.

Many joke that as a Somali you are automatically an activist and entrepreneur.

It is these qualities that drove the community elders and leaders to spring into action, organising meetings and rallies.

The campaign to free "the poor old couple" was born.

Mr Abdiwali dedicated his Have Your Say TV programme to the issue and it became an arena for the community to vent their anger and drum up support.

"People were phoning into the studios demanding their release. There was big pressure. People were very angry.

"I also interviewed Ali Gedow [the spokesman for the pirates who were holding the Chandlers]," he recalled.

"I gave him a very hard talk, asking: 'Why are you holding this old British couple? Do you believe that you will be paid if you kill or humiliate the life of old people? What food do you give them?' I asked him all these things. And every week we called him up."

The UK-based Somalis used their strong ties to their families back home and the clan structure which lies at the heart of Somali society to exert pressure on the pirates to free the Chandlers.

This led Mr Gedow to phone up Mr Abdiwali and complain: "Stop the pressure, you're annoying us. All we want is the money."'

And on and on and on.


3) The BBC timeline includes this entry:

'16 November 2009:

Representatives of the Somali community in the UK record messages - for broadcast on the BBC World Service and Eastern TV Network - appealing to the pirates to free the Chandlers on humanitarian grounds.'

The BBC seem less eager to report what The Mail reports:

'Two members of the Somali pirate gang that held Britons Paul and Rachel Chandler hostage for 388 days are believed to have family in the UK.

One of the pirate leaders says he plans to travel to the UK to join his wife and two children, who have claimed political asylum and live in London.'

Read the whole Mail piece and ask yourself whether you think it totally out of the question that at least one of the Chandlers' abductors ends up living in the UK on benefits? Also ask yourself if you are 100% confident that there is no chance that at least one of the Chandlers' abductors manages to sue the UK government for compensation, maybe for loss of earnings? This country is becoming has become a laughing stock for being an easy touch.
