It is Trafalgar Day
Today is Trafalgar Day, a celebration of the victory won by Horatio Nelson's British fleet over the combined French and Spanish fleets at the Battle of Trafalgar on October 21, 1805. Celebrate it whilst you can because I would bet that within 20 years, Trafalgar Square and Waterloo Station will be renamed in the interests of EU harmony and reconciliation; maybe we will then have Delors Square and Helmut Kohl Station.
