The Bechdel Test received quite a lot of coverage on the BBC, Women's Hour were especially excited by the idea of rating films according to how female friendly they were - if only all films could be like Fried Green Tomatoes!

Well I did really enjoy Alien, mostly for the action and suspense but not at all for the female to female conversation between Ripley and Lambert.
