The Gordon Brown is a "Jonah" meme has been spreading for a while but is there another Gordon who is a Jonah? The Telegraph reports that Gordon Ramsay used to bank with Icelandic bank Kaupthing Singer and Friedlander but that he switched to the Royal Bank of Scotland... Icelandic banking collapse, RBS shares in free-fall and apparently his own Holding company five months late with filing accounts - Maybe it's just the Gordon effect.
Mind you I'd rather eat a meal cooked by Gordon Ramsay than Gordon Brown. Even ignoring the infinitely better quality of cooking, the hygiene would be of a higher standard as well...
