Take a trip here and listen to Hilary Ben just about keep his cool as he is interviewed rather well by a student about Guanatnamo Bay and the British government's attitude to torture. I think Hillary Benn would prefer to be interviewed by the more respectful and less persistent BBC interviewers.

This recording would be an excellent focus for a seminar on political obfuscation and interview techniques. It is almost a template for how someone with a relatively low IQ and a weak position can keep their head above water. I guess an expert in these matters could isolate a good half dozen techniques illustrated by this short interview.#
